Can always just read the pcm.
If you read the PCM, and it doesn't have the updated revision in it.
It will do no good. Then you just have a HPTuners version of the file with the same issue.

As stated, HO testing should wrap up today. (STG2 is done)
Revision #2 will go out tomorrow, in time for the weekend. :)

All systems, ship with revised tunes no matter what.
Hence why the number of people with the "issue" is not growing.
All we are trying to do is get through those that still have it from long ago.

Man, you have a very good quallity product, I know that, I installed it.
This post is important, you are giving us a date. That's what we need, Just more info.
Thanks man! Keep and eye on your email. :)

Is this only happening to premium performance pack cars? Just asking because most the cars with issues seem to be pp cars.
Basically, our first tune (as I am sure HPT, Diablo, and SCT)
Was designed around the first round of cars that went out to dealers.
(basically 2 files, stick and auto)

There has been at least 3 Ford revisions (thus 6, total counting trans) that I have personally seen myself.
(And I have heard of rumors of 8 total (aka16), though I can't confirm that since I have not seen that)

Each time Ford makes these revisions.
HPTuners, Diablo, SCT, etc. all need to update their mapping.
That way the "tune" we send out, overlays correctly.
All these companies have done amazing jobs of updating things as fast as possible. Literally everyone has been on the ball.

It takes us a bit longer, because we have to actually "verify" that everything works. That way we don't send out tune revisions to people, and end up with a bunch of broken motors.

I like that you guys are active on the forums in addressing customers with their issues. A lot of people don't have the courage to do so. I think what people are forgetting that is IS a brand new car which requires some patience. One of the downfalls of purchasing a first gen car. Sometimes S*** happens and I think we should give vendors some slack as they are not intentionally trying to screw us. I'm sure they would rather see us happy as well. A lot of people are hoping for flawless tunes right out of the gate when people forget the car is still under a year old. Props to you guys for tackling the issue and doing whats necessary to provide for your customers. When i'm ready for FI I will be giving you a ring

Incorrect,

1) He can't load a HPT file with a Diablo, or SCT, etc.
2) And you can't just swap calibrations (operating systems) like that.

But yes, in reality, if he has HPTuners, all he has to do right now is "read"
The diablo file currently in his car, and make the changes he would like to.

Since we have the inTUNE fix shipping in the next day, I doubt we will be sending out any HPTuners files, since there is no reason for it at all.

Regardless of what happened, ProCharger is making it right! I will continue to buy from them because of this. The company has been in business WAY TO LONG to just sweep the problem under the rug. I am excited to load the new tune!! :)

Seriously man, you don't think I know this? I use hptuners with my own car. I know how to use it. He said he wanted your file in hpt format. I gave him a solution on how to get it.

Load your in tune file then read it out using hptuners.

That is not what you wrote in your first comment.

You said give him a HPT file, so that he can load it WITH diablo.

Sorry for the confusion, I was going off of what your post stated.

Actually the opposite.

The 2nd round of testing for the STG 2 revision #2, went well.
The 2nd round of testing for the HO revision #2, is today, finishes tomorrow.

We will send both HO and STG2 files at the same time. :)
Anybody get a email from ProCharger with a new tune inside? I haven't yet.....

Just letting you all know, you don't have to make posts asking if anyone got the files.
I will make a post, stating when the emails go out.
They all get sent as a group at the same time.

Only those that are in our "BETA" testing program get them early.
So they can evaluate them, before the group email goes out.

We were hoping for Friday, looks like today should work.

Thanks

Has anyone else had issues with the idle after installing the new tune? My car wants to stumble for a second then the idle goes up then it comes back down. I'm also still experiencing the same issues at 2700-4000 rpm and it makes a noise when I push in on the clutch. Kinda like the car is belching or something. It's really weird. I think I might have some boost leak issues or something.

I have heard nothing from a "new" tune. ProCharger said they would announce on here when they are sending the new tunes. Did you get a new tune from them?
