The loss lately seems around 12%.
I would say closer to 15%, reason for that is because our completely stock mustang put down 260 on our dyno. If the factory was rated 320 to the crank, that would put the loss at around 19%.

Well with me making 352hp/410tq on the stock turbo tonight I'm thinking for someone that is looking to get off the line a little faster with an AT we can do a smaller turbo like the Precision 5558 and it will definitely build boost off the line. Plus with Cobb working hard on some transmission "tweaks" we might see a higher stall in the future :D
-spits drink- What mods do you have on that? P1?

Truthfully, all of the shop cars have been base/Premium cars without the PP. The PP is the only way to get the 3.55s, so most of those autos have been running the 3.15s and are posting all of the good numbers (or it would seem).
I know someone with 3.55s:D

It is P1.5 which is our P1 kit with the addition of our intercooler kit like Jason said above.

Here is the graph, I'll be posting up a thread soon!

Adam, those numbers look great! I'm actually hoping we get to 400/400. What is limiting the HP? You think it will take heads to get the HP higher? Also, those numbers MUST be manual right?

What is the 15%? Manual or auto? I thought it was around 13% manual and 19% auto?

Small stock turbo limits the motor, but heads would probably give you some more up top.

There is no power differences between MT and AT. Those numbers were done on 15SVO's AT EBM. Here is a quick video I shot last night while we were in the middle of doing some transmission tuning.

The stock turbo will not be able to produce more than 360hp and that will be pushing it, which I will try to be doing today on our E85 powered shop car. While the turbo kit is off getting jigged for production I'm going to be beating the snot out of the factory turbo! One the turbo kit is done being jigged I'm going to put it back on our car and work on faster spool and MORE power!

The biggest power robbing components on the stock engine is the cylinder head and the intake manifold. We are addressing BOTH of those as we speak.

Thanks. I'm not very familiar with turbos. I wasn't sure if the turbo was already being spun to its max or was the head flow (back pressure) restricting it. If I said that correctly.

I can't really hear the sound well as I have my tablet on the beach in Cancun but watching it rip through the gears looked VERY nice. Very sorry for my ignorance but how are the AT +MT the same power? I always thought the general rule was the AT gave up about 7% drivetrain loss to the MT?

So it's the turbo limiting the HP? You think either intake manifold, heads or both could increase the HP without upgrading the turbo?

How does E85 impact the performance? Does it suppress detonation like methanol and allow more timing?

Burns cooler, allows more timing, and has 105-107 octane rating.

Head work and intake manifold will free up some horsepower, but it will be minimal gains until a turbo that can support the extra volume is used.

SOme of us with premium ATs (non-PP) found out we actually have 3.31's on our cars.

3.15's on AT cars must only be on the base, non-PP EB.

Here's a screnshot from my car, the 3L31 on the diff signifies 3.31s

Adam, I'm just seeing the Dyno chart above, must not have loaded before. That is impressive! I like how the tq comes in gradually and is still at 300 at 6k! Plus the HP still near 350 at 6k, wow! Most charts I've seen tq and hp are falling off. Is this a new tune?

When talking about eb intake manifold wishful thinking for a short runner plastic manifold.

That A/F looks great. Excellent work. Nice power numbers as well.
