For Beefcake...
Procharger stated in an earlier post that their tune only modifies WOT (anything pre-WOT is Ford OEM tuning).
My question is, do your tunes only affect WOT or the entire range?
thx!

I can say Lund and brooks tune everything.

The tip in spark changes as well.

Just go with the tuner kit.
Add another for this option. Beef has great packages and Lund doesn't seem to have the same issues. I know ProCharger will protest that it's not the tune and all that and we all appreciate PC getting after the problem, but sometimes a known quantity just makes you warm and fuzzy.

This is the only person that is reporting low power.

A customer with that same tune 2 days ago, just reported back 582rwhp
I would love to see the dyno sheet on this. Did the car have any other mods? This number seems really high to me for just a out of the box HO kit.

I know opinions are like A holes, but I think if I were doing a Procharger, I'd follow Process' build.

I think you are mis reading what I was trying to say.

Meaning, how Ford designed the car to run and drive while not in boost remains the same. We are not turning off knock sensors, we are not turning off the IMRC plates, fuel trims long and short term are all enabled, etc. Not extra throttle "boost" is being applied to make it feel faster then it actually is.

Again, only a very very select few people are still having an issue.
(I think we are down to like 3)

So I saw that the tuner kit does not include injectors nor a tuner for a difference of $700. Isn't the complete kit still the better deal even if I choose not to use a PC loaded tune and go custom?

I mean ID1000 run about $950 and a Diablo is about $400. Granted the ID1000 is more than likely an upgrade compared to the 52lbs injectors in the kit.

You don't have to run the id1000s. Their kit come with 52lb injectors that are much cheaper. Than just have a shop custom tune it which runs about 500. It might cost a little more but I'm sure you will be much happier with the results.

I'd rather run frpp 47s than the gt500 52s. Just my opinion.

The larger injector dynamic injector will help maintain pressure though.

I guess I wasn't aware that the 52lbs injectors were so little money. I would still have to pickup a DiabloSport Tuner for about $500, so I guess it breaks out to be about even after a custom tune.

The name Tim Barth at Modular Powerhouse comes up a lot here in IL and I think that's where I'll be going. They were actually offering a pretty killer deal on Kenne Bell kits last month. If you buy a kit at reg list price, they'll install it free of charge and provide 3 dyno pulls afterwards. Custom tuning is extra of course. I wonder if I can get them to offer that on a PC kit. :D

I don't think I'd go with diablo if you go tuner kit. As I understand it, not many 'Pro' tuners tune using it.

You can get a diablo tuner for much less than $500.00

ProCharger, the few of us still experiencing issues, what are your recommendations? I sent over some data logs a couple of days ago however haven't heard anything back yet.

I ask because if there isn't anymore you can do I'm going to go ahead and get a Lund tune through beef...and throw this inTune up for sale. I've been resisting because I want to try and help get this canned tune 'better'
