Beautiful! And nice to see another DIB convertible in northern CA. Maybe we can meet at a future Sac. or East Bay Mustang meetup. :D

And Hey, those toneau caps... I see 'em. they look good on DIB. LOL :hail:

I haven't seen many DIB at all near Sacramento, let alone a convertible. Congrats on yours, looks great! Next time I head to the Bay I'll shoot a DM.

Picked up my DIB 'vert today and enjoyed some mid 70's California sun.
That is my exact setup except mine will be the GT instead, first time I have seen it on a Convertible. Nice!

Why don't you try to keep your profanity to yourself. All it does is degrade this site to the point many will just not participate. Why do you feel you have to treat our site like a piece of S.

I may have, sometimes my computer skills go away for a time. Anyway some guy moaning and cursing about lack of parade caps for his car. I'm sure Ford will get them to us, in the meantime the pretty girls can sit towards the centre during the parade.

If in error, please except my apology./

JF,
Are you implying that Flat Rock thinks Canadians need a sticker to tell them a car is a convertible! :eyebulge: :D

Maybe it IS a Canadian thing, but I hope fore another reason, aye. ;)
Lol...I was more thinking it could be a regulation thing....but winter's been a bitch this year so it may be to remind us that summer is still coming. ..[emoji14]

Nice shots WesleyENG, Car looks great, I like how you got a shot of the cruise ship going under the Verrazano bridge in one of the pics.

Love the Black versus Red. I originally was going to order the same color combination, but chickened out when I realized that I would be constantly frustrated in trying to keep that gorgeous black clean.

CDC, RPI Spoiler or Roush Hood Scoop on convertible anyone??

I am liking the idea of adding a spoiler and either a Roush hood scoop or better yet an aftermarket hood with functional cold air intake!

If anyone here has added these OR seen pics of 2015 Convertibles with any of them, please post pics and/or links.

Actually, I'd love to see a picture of a DIB convertible with the larger OEM spoiler (not the little flat one I have that stops at the edge of the trunk). It may actually look the best, not being as large, bulky and visually heavy.

Extra bonus points for pics of with 18" Foundry wheels! :D
Super extra bonus points if any pics are in DIB!!!

Also, what do you other convertible owners think of spoilers and hood scoops on the convertible. Below is the RPI painted spoiler.

I think the biggest problem with those spoilers would be the fact that the Vert has the antenna. I do not think it would clear the antenna when the trunk is open, which is why it stops at the trunk lid edge. Not sure if anyone that actually has there car now would be able to verify that through a simple experiment.

Before I had my convertible, that was my theory also. But with the trunk lid raised to where the antenna is, it is 3.5" away from the trunk lid edge. And the spoiler, if it did go past that 3.5" width, then it would only touch the top 1 - 1.5" (depending on how far forward a spoiler sat on lid) of the flexible antenna. I know the factory would not design a spoiler to hit even that little bit of the antenna, But I think I would be OK with it for my car. And it may not even impact the antenna at all! A Roush spoiler mounts to the rear of the lid, not top, so it would clear the top of the antenna by 4-6".

I just remembered that CDC said the 'vert hood was a little different as far as spoiler mountting. SO maybe the GT spoiler would not have the proper contour or bolt patten. :(
