Comparing apples to apples why would you pay more for a modified Ecoboost without warranty only to match a cheaper stock GT's power output not to mention that with a stock GT you do get warranty?
I believe once all factors are considered...assuming invoice prices paid and taxes for similarly equipped cars, overall the price is still cheaper. This kit also produces more power, as well as under the curve. The EB still weighs less, gets better mpgs, insurance, etc, etc...

Didn't we do this already?

I got my EB base for $20,500. The Mapp performance p1 adds 75hp and 143+ torque, for 2k. So around 385hp and 463 torque at the crank for $22,500. Not trying to "match" a GT mustang. But I don't know of a 2015 brand new car you can get for that price with those numbers. Plus an advantage over the GT is you press a button and you have a detuned 4 cylinder running 35mpg (Cobb on the fly map switching). Use gas saver map as a nice little daily driver so you don't get "numb" to the power and save gas using as a commuter to work, then on the weekend turn on boost and you have balls to the wall. That's why. To each their own. If you want a GT get a GT.

base eco vs base gt have about 7k difference according to sticker price on build a mustang. i guess even with a base eco with PP and this turbo (assuming you do the labor) is about $1,000 away from a gt. making a bit more power with no warranty

And if a person mods a GT they should have bought a GT350 instead...

Just enjoy the car. If someone wants to make the best financial choice there are a lot of cars they could choose instead of any Mustang.

Don't know how you got your EB for 20k but the price OTD of a base EB is about 26-27k

A stock GT does not make 400 to the wheels. it still takes quite a bit of parts to get it to 400 at the wheels.

It's the internet, just how people claim they're getting 30+ city MPGs on their 5.0s lol, take everything with a grain of salt.

In regards to the turbo, I'm going to be very unbiased and wait to see what other companies bring to the table instead of just jumping the gun with the first available option. For the time being I'll just get a catless DP and work on suspension and brakes some more.

Koons ford in the DC area has all their brand new Ecoboost mustangs for low 20k range advertised. Here is a photo of one of the hundreds they have. I bought mine in February so don't have the ad, but ya just paid internet price right off the truck $20,495 to be exact. I could of got in the 19's had I been a previous ford owner due to their loyalty cash thing.
