Looking great Coyote!

I love the black on yellow look.

What are your plans for her next? I see this car turning into a show and go beast!

Let me know if I can be of any assistance along the way.

Thanks! I'm right now waiting on a Roush spoiler, once I install that I'm going to apply vinyl stripes. I'm looking at the MMD racing stripes in gloss black.

The other things on the list are suspension upgrades and a supercharger or CAI, having a hard time deciding on which.

I know the feeling all too well Coyote,

Deciding which route to go is a tough choice but you can't really go wrong either way.

I'm currently in the beginning stages of boosting my Coyote so we'll see what happens :headbang:

Let me know if you ever need anything!

Over the weekend I installed the Roush heat extractors, it was a bigger pain in the ass than I anticipated but in the end I'm REALLY happy with the results.

One issue though, looking at how these are installed I question how much heat they're actually extracting. It does look like air can flow through them but they are not open to the engine like the stock extractors. It looks like air has to flow along the hood and under the heat insulator to be vented out.
Would you mind posting a pic that shows why you think they're not letting heating out. I was thinking about getting these as well.

Ya, I'll try to remember to get a shot of it tonight.

I do think it vents but I'm not sure how well compared to the stock extractors. The Roush extractors have a channel that runs under the slots and is open underneath to the engine. That opening to the engine is then covered by the stock bracket to mount the extractor in place. That bracket is not sealing the hole, there is about a quarter of an inch space between the bracket and hood/extractors.

My guess is air can vent through them, but it looks as if the air needs to run along the inside front of the hood and under the heat insulation.

It's kinda hard to see, but in picture 2 there is a gap. Roush provides spacers so that the bracket isn't flush to the hood like it is stock.

I'm near San Mateo. I'd like to make it out to those Tuesday meets, but work makes it kinda tough to do on weekdays. Though I'm sure I'll eventually find some time to get over there one of these weeks.
