Can't help you there. I'm a base.ditton on replacing the center speaker. How the heck do you get to it![]()
Looking forward to those pics ;)You might be right. I replaced the speaker. But yes you could disconnect the wires from the amp as it has it's own run from the amp
Great write up!
that sounds bad, i think that box that is on the rear deck is involved with the radio signal for the keyfob, so there is a good chance your starting problem was not a coincidence. i dont really know why it would turn over but not start, but the timing is just too damning. I have let my access to the wiring diagrams expire, hopefully someone else can still look at that harness for you.
You get this resolved? If you need, I can snap a picture of the 12v keyed wire I have tapped so you can compare. I haven't fully tucked that harness back away yet.Does anyone have a wiring diagram that spells out what wires are what in the passenger side rear deck harness? My shop tapped that harness for R&L
+/- and 12v switched for a LOC and also grounded it in rear deck. Yesterday a full day after install I inspected their work (moving wires and LOC) and my car all of a sudden wouldn't start (would turn over and over but no bang) I unplugged the LOC and went back in car and it fired up immediately. Trying to determine if they accidentally tapped a signal wire instead of 12v switched that is causing the starting issue or if I just so happened to have a starting issue that coincided with my LOC inspection. Anyone know if there is security or fuel or signal wiring in that passenger rear deck harness??
