Debating swapping my 2015 50th GT 401A for a 400A GT with the track pack, nav, and the premier trim package and re enhanced security package.
Anyway, I've searched forever, what do you guys think about the ride of a regular GT vs one with the Track Pack?

And I got used to the super plush 50th ann package interior, does anyone know if the premeir interior trim package is comparable? Does it replace the fake molded stitching on the dash? And are the door panels (where your arm would rest if you had it out the window) the hatd plastic like in a regular GT or are they the softer ones with a little give? I've searched like crazy all over here and on fords website but have yet to find an answer. None of the dealerships close to me have a GT with the premier package I can compare with.
Thanks in advance for the replies!

'Swapping'? On a car that new? Are you high or just absurdly wealthy? 68B is probably equal to 50th in terms of plush-ness. I don't think you've searched much, because the questions you ask about 68B are exactly what 68B does. Sorry to sound like a jerk to a new member, but... yeah.

You'll lose a ton on the 'swap' and the GTPP you're seeking out will cost more. For what you'll lose in $, you could buy an entire FRPP handling kit (better than GTPP), exhaust, tune, K-brace, STB, etc, or even be 2/3 of the way to a blower.

Money's not really an issue bud, I appreciate the thought though. I bought my 50th last November, drove it for maybe 2000 miles, decided I wanted the ruby red and figured while I'm at it I'll get one with a track pack and the premier package.

Premier trim (68B) adds the upgraded leather and soft touch panels, contrast stitching and stitching on the dash. I believe this will be the same material quality as your 50th Appearance pack.

As for ride in PP vs GT - yes I feel the PP is stiffer and for my DD I prefer the GT ride (would love to have gotten those Brembos though!).

You really need to drive a PP back to back with your GT and feel the difference yourself though. I could daily drive the PP honestly, but some may feel differently.

It won't be a daily driver, just a weekend and going out car, but I do still like having a somewhat decent ride.
And the depreciation isn't nearly what you all would think it would be. It's maybe 12 out the door. You just have to shop around for the right dealership. The best ones will take care of you. I don't want to say which one I'm doing business with get but once things get done I'll let you all know how it went.

Sounds like you've done plenty of due diligence...make the the trade...and enjoy your new Mustang!

Yea if money is of no issue then idk why you wouldnt get a GT350. If you're that worried about ride quality then get a benz

I agree the gt350 would be a fun ass car but I want something I'm not going to feel bad about modifying down the road. Id want to leave a car like that alone. May not be as big a deal as I'm making it sound, lol, but I'd feel bad disturbing a limited edition mustang.
And thanks for the Benz suggestion hero, I'll keep that in mind.

Well, I went and got my ruby red gt premium track pack. Ride (to me) is noticeably stiffer (as intended, lol) and man she looks great. And the premier package isn't QUITE as nice as the 50th anniversary as far as some of the materials, but it's so close you'd have to really pay attention to notice. I'm happy with my new car. Acceleration is faster enough IMO to definitely feel the 3.73s compared to the regular GT manual. The weathertech mats fit great. Pictures will be up soon.
