EB Premium here. I've had a few episodes of daytime driving where the illumination on the two main gauges goes out completely for a few minutes. It happened several times on my latest drives; one minute I'd look down and they'd be normal, and a few minutes later they'd be dark again. Then they'd be back.

The center screen between the gauges also dims when this happens, but everything else in the car seems to behave normally. Has anybody else seen this happen?

Nope! It's bone stock.

I do notice it's happening in partially sunny conditions and wondered if there was a sensor. But the gauges are almost unreadable when this happens. Doesn't seem right.

Check and see if your running lights are set to auto. Could just be adjusting dimming back and forth.

Oh hey, you mean that little dark plastic bump in the center of the dash..? The one that was, er, obstructed when I just looked? That may have been the problem! :headbonk: :hail:
