Tach backlight (Colored) stopped working

Hi Guys.

Last night as I was driving through town, the backlight on my tachometer went out. It was set GREEN. The needle on the tach was still illuminated as was the speedometer. When I changed the color to WHITE, it would light up. But any other color would not work.

When I turned the car off, got out, locked the doors, then unlocked and got back in, they worked again.

Has anyone else had any issues with this?

Mine will have one sill plate red when I set them to red, but the other side will be green. I just gave in and set everything to the light blue.
