BWHAHAHAHA! I was going to do that but you beat me to it!:cheers:Fixed it for ya.
Why would you feel bad for the people who buy them used? I may have bolted parts on, but it's not like I beat the car within an inch of its life everyday. Most of the time, it's putting along in traffic and not seeing much boost. If you take care of the car, keep up on maintenance, and don't go WOT everywhere, there's no harm done. Hell, I love the flexibility of the EB...cruises along and gets great mpg, but roll into boost and the fun begins...lol.I can't believe you guys are doing all this to almost brand new cars with a factory warranty. And a brand new Ford engine too....eeek:(
I feel worse for the dudes buying them second hand after you trade them in a year from now.
Because when the problems start, which they eventually will on a first year motor, and the new owner thinks they are going to be covered under warranty because they bought a one year old Mustang with 20k miles, they'll be disappointed to say the least. Why would you feel bad for the people who buy them used? You mean like the one year old used car you just bought...guess what, the owner got rid of it for a reason. you are going to have to hunt for it.

I have a lot friends they do not buy a used Mustang because they know that Mustangs get beaten up. Saying nobody cares is absolutely wrong. I too get some upgrades on my EB but I do nothing what would void my warranty. As he posted. New model and brand new engine. :cheers:You mean like the one year old used car you just bought...guess what, the owner got rid of it for a reason. If we polled who cared about his opinion, I would bet the consensus is nobody cares. You might be in the minority though.I have a lot friends they do not buy a used Mustang because they know that Mustangs get beaten up. Saying nobody cares is absolutely wrong. I do not have the money to replace one right now.:gossip:
Right. So all this means to an informed buyer is to either purchase used from a Ford dealership or take a used car to be checked out at a Ford dealership to verify the warranty will still be intact. Not rocket science.Because when the problems start, which they eventually will on a first year motor, and the new owner thinks they are going to be covered under warranty because they bought a one year old Mustang with 20k miles, they'll be disappointed to say the least.
Most people don't know enough to know they're buying a modded used car.
Ford will know.
The majority of '15 Mustangs will not be treated like a cheap prostitute at this point. Base GTs maybe a bit more, I would think. The cars, at this point, are far too expensive to be treated poorly by most people. Also, automatic transmissions limit the amount of abuse that can be inflicted. Manual trans cars are the ones to be more concerned about.I have a lot friends they do not buy a used Mustang because they know that Mustangs get beaten up. Saying nobody cares is absolutely wrong. Read it again.^^ not sure I agree with your statement about the transmissions, you hear a lot more failures of the MT82's than you do the 6R80.
