I am loving my Mustang but is anybody having to learn how to park again with the long hood? I had an 08 Cobalt before and I guess that sits up higher than my 15 Mustang? I could see the yellow line at the end of the parking space with the Cobalt. I guess it still takes getting used to driving new and different car?

I judge it by the hood vents. give it about 1 and 1/2 feet from the last point on the you can see on the vent.
honestly, I just back it in everywhere....

It's not an excessively long car. I just don't pull in that far. I'd rather leave a foot and a half gap at the nose than smash the splitter on a curb.

Takes time getting used to the dimensions. Just think of it this way...if your parents or even grandparents could park those big boats of a car in the 60's and 70's...this aint nothing.

Very true, but those land yachts of days gone by also had their bumpers high enough off the curb or parking stop to pull the car up and contact the front tires on the curb/stop as well. :) Not so with ours. ;)

You'll get used to the long hood on the Mustang. Just be glad you don't have a Camaro, long hood and near zero visibility.

I find it much easier to park in reverse with this new Mustang.

But I'm getting used to the long hood too when parking. I just use the side mirrors to gauge how close I am, and leave extra room compared to my previous cars.

Its.not the hood length, it not having any visibility of where the front wheels are. Makes it a little challenging to place

With the reverse camera standard, your probably better off backing into a parking spot. You'll be able to see with the camera when to stop. Bonus of you've got the reverse assist.
