with the power level we have in the stock gt, even just with headers/tune/etc....we dont need 10-11 inch wide wheels that require a super high offset.

just sacrifice and go down to a 8.5"/9" staggered setup and get low offsets that will clear the brakes. then you will get your big concavity like seen on the Z.

on my 135i i was running 8.5 / 9 setup with 245 front 275 rear, rolled rear fenders, and making 422whp and 453 wtq in a chassis that was 600~ lbs lighter. i still had enough grip.

I'll eventually have a whipple on here so I just want to do the wheel setup thing once. I had 18x9.5 with 265's on the rear of my S2000. I had a 335i too, man that was garbage not having a LSD in the back with 300+ hp.

Here was my 04 with custom finished LMs

I'd like to see the 20x11 Super Deep Concave in the +44, that's about as close as it's going to get for what they offer. Ideal rear is what, +50? So that's pretty close.
I'm in the same boat as you. Looking for the deep concave setup. Like you, I really like how aggressive 370z can run. I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread!

I was in 75 degree weather yesterday driving around and I can still burn the tires down in 1st gear and lay down 20'+ of rubber spinning in 2nd gear when I get on it. This is with the factory PP wheels/tires.

Why would I want to run 8.5/9" wide wheels on a car this size and width? The Mustang begs for a wide wheel and tire setup. It looks good and helps with grip a ton.

todd, im just saying for the people that want the crazy concave look and care more about form over function have that choice. i myself loved the more aggressive fat tire look on my bmw, moreso than the super stretched slammed route I went with my miata.

Dude thats a sexy s2k

Is that a ap1?
AP2. I had an 00 and an 04. I still really really miss that car. It's the only car I wish had not gotten rid of and the most fun I've ever had on 4 wheels. One day I'd like to add one back to the garage. Their prices have sky rocketed though considering what I sold mine for. :frusty:

I'm in the, I want as much meat as I can fit under there, in a non herrafrush manner but yet still getting as sick looking of a wheel as possible. So I definitely put the performance aspect of it higher up on the list. I don't want to sacrifice width just to get more concavity.

I almost was going to pull the trigger on a brand new Nismo. I just couldn't stomach how little power they have compared to the Mustang. Also a turbo setup done right on a Z to make up for that power, that's $20k once it's all said and done. Not to mention the issues that come along with it. Still, such a sexy time body style the Z has.

Ya I got some buddies who run s2ks, as for the S550 IMO wide wheels beefy tires and a whipple under the hood !

I know that feel though. Concave wheels are so sexy.

I'd be interested in something like these Zito ZS05s but they only come in 20" as far as I'm aware and they don't have a dedicated site with information from what I've tried to research. Just a bunch of advertising on instragram and shit.

Sean - The Avantgarde M580's look a lot like those you posted.

Here is a site for those wheels you posted. They have a # and sales email address as well. http://wpi-motorsports.com/zito-wheels/

I've been on the forums for a while own a 2013 boss 302. I'm also a big daft punk fan. Thinking about getting the new GT350

Anyways I had the same issue with wheels out there in the market. I came from the import scene and had a 350z with more play then the mustang in offsets. Yes other cars with lower offset are going to have better looking cast wheels.

The only way your going to get great fitting concave deep wheels for the mustang is to go forged custom. I was frustrated and made my own wheels to fill in this gap.

You can still get a deep concave with a Monoblock wheel for the mustang. The issue is really the 55 offset, and custom you can get around what a cast or rotory forged company will not do.

The main issue with Forgestar, HRE and TSW is their wheels are universal. Even though forgestar can work with blanks then grind down the pad to the right offset The spokes stay the same.

For $400 more than a full set then HRE flow forms you can do custom concave monoblock wheel. Quite frankly have a lighter stronger set of wheels that are tailored to your car.

I lost 40lbs off the stock wheels and went wider 19x10 & 19x11. Run a 295 tire front 305 tire rear. I also track our car so the wheels are just not for show.
