Two things for everyone:

First, the fighting and bickering is getting out of hand and detracting from the enjoyability of the forum. Clean it up or you will be asked to leave.

Second, POLITICS is prohibited on the forum. Familiarize yourselves with the rules or posting privileges will be taken away.

So I go to park my car this evening, and I do a pretty good parallel parking job on an icy street, nothing special...

And it's not a particularly tight fit, plenty of room between me and the car behind me...

Except when I'm pulling in I bump the car in front of me. And I'm like; dude, no way. There's PLENTY of room between me and the car in front of me. Except, after I'm done parking, I get out and look at the car in front of me and see...

This motherf***ing a**hole has a goddamned trailer hitch sticking eight inches out of the back of his car!!! What kind of lunatic does that while street parking in NYC???

For like a half a second I thought of slashing his tires or smashing in his windshield with a crowbar, but I resisted the urge. But, seriously, people -- if you're going to be parallel parking, DO NOT leave a trailer hitch on your car.

It's too dark outside to determine whether I dented my bumper or not (I hit the trailer hitch going about one foot / second); guess I'll see tomorrow. Don't really care either way, but still. Some people...

EDIT: The trailer hitch is kind of hard to see in that photo; it's less than an inch in front of my license plate.
I hate to say it, but it's nobody's fault but yours!

Parking has really been tough this winter. Guy probably left it in on purpose just to be an a-hole.

By the way, that is some SERIOUS wheel gap there. I didnt know the S550 had that - looks like an SUV. My PP doesnt have that at all - wonder why Ford did that?

He has winter wheels and tires on his car so it makes the gap more pronounced.

I'm running narrow 18" wheels and undersized Michelin XIce Xi3 winter tires (narrow is better on snow). Also, it looks more prominent because the inside of the wheel arches is normally black but mine is white from road salt.

I'm on team JimmyJimmy! I live in the tristate. I'm familiar with unspoken rules. Others here who are far removed from this area won't understand. I know you weren't really seeking monetary compensation from the pilot guy. You were just saying he should have been kind enough to remove his hitch. Some people are just oblivious.

You know, I used to be a regular on these forums. But threads like this one are one of the reasons I've been staying away. This is supposed to be a place to talk, vent, discuss, and share our thoughts/experiences/etc on our Mustangs. Why does everything have to be personal? And why does someone HAVE to be right? Everyone has an opinion...great. You don't have to like someone else's...state yours and move on. If you don't like what's being said, go to a different thread. Participating in the forums is supposed to be fun and entertaining...not a beating or beatdown.

Tiny little dent, just the passenger side of the bottom of the license plate. You can't see it; you can only notice it if you rub your finger along the bumper. No big deal at all; I'm sure I have worse dings on the sides from people opening doors into me that I haven't even noticed.

The whole thing isn't a big deal at all, it was just me venting last night about people not using proper parallel-parking courtesies. And also me really wishing that there was a front camera in addition to the backup camera because that would make parking MUCH easier.
Thats the best ding you could possibly get! Well done on the parallel park!:clap2::clap2:
