How likely is it that if you give a bad survey the dealer will damage your car, scratch it intentionally, when you bring it in for resvice?

Very unlikely as the survey is anonymous. And your car is still under warranty

They can't do that. It is part of a contract each dealer signs. If they break the contract, they get fired and are given a tax or even some other stuff. Its their job or a revenge with a side of no job

If the dealer is bad enough to get a bad survey, why would you bring it back to them to begin with?
Yep. But still, first few services are free so, what the hell!

If this is truly a worry of yours, then free could end up costing you.
I doubt it would though. Most service happens w/o the sales people being involved or even knowing whose car is whose.

They are annonymous but I would think they could figure it out. How many Mustangs did they sell that month, through that salesperson?

They are not anonymous. They want you to think they, but they are most definitely not.

If you take care of a your service advisor on them, it helps take care of you assuming you use the same one and develop a relationship with them. I've had it save me thousands before when it's up to them to determine whether it's warranty work or not.

Seems like you are willing to give a second chance if you want to go back for the free oil change...An option is to provide feedback after your first oil change. Maybe just maybe the customer service experience will be better second time around.

VERY unlikely. The salesman would rarely ever know when you're in for service as most salesmen don't hang out anywhere near the service department. And the service department has no clue what your sales survey says.

I don't do surveys.
Yeah, I can't do them either. They always push for all 10's or whatever, and as an engineer, to me that means perfection, which is possible in theory but in reality there is always room for improvement. So I can't give all 10's, and instead of giving them lower scores just don't fill it out at all.

If you want an honest survey, I'll give one, but if you want a document full of BS, count me out.

So it's worth 80$ to you (approx cost of changing oil yourself) to worry about a scratch or worse? No thank you.
