As a former programmer, I'm bound to be the first type. But I must confess it took a while to calculate mentally; it wasn't exactly instinctive.![]()

It is B5. I do octal, too. The first computers I worked on were octal (IBM 704), which really dates me!Nah. Hex is above my paygrade. I've always used the Windows (or more recently, macOS) calculator for that.
I do understand how it works, but to actually calculate it myself... life's too short for that.![]()
