Yeah, some of the memes were certainly borderline but that could have been dealt with warnings to the offending posters.

then came back and was like "What part of 'no politics' do these mofos not understand?!?"

Yeah, some of the memes were certainly borderline but that could have been dealt with warnings to the offending posters.

I, too, thought people should get warnings, but it looks like the mods have a history of skipping straight to the ban hammer.

I have found a 2021 thread where somebody said "My memes weren't political, why did I get banned?" "...And with everything in that's been posted in that thread, my last meme seriously broke the boundaries?"
and the answer from a mod was basically "It said 'No politics', and an explanation in the site rules, and now you're banned from the thread."

I thought some of them were well into politics. Regardless, it was my favorite thread on the forum and I didn't want to take chances, so I never said anything to any mod.

it was a tag team and only one got banned. Expect a repeat performance unless they were warned. I like memes, just not where that thread was taken to.

Don't know what happened but can narrow down when. I have an email notice that someone quoted me. The notice was time stamped Sunday 14:43 MST. So, it went away after that.
