O2 system not ready for emissions

How do I fix this? I reset a CEL over a week ago and I went to get emissions done and still shows not ready for this system. Stock car, no CEL now (was a misfire for the stupid IMRC)

Anyone dealt with this? What do I do? I have 3 weeks to get it done to register it.

Keep driving it. Daily it even if you don't. Needs miles and multiple conditions to test. Highway and stop and go traffic.

I had the same kind of issue with my winter car. Took me about two weeks worth of driving to and from work (15 mins) to get the 02s to register and finish the checks. Everything from balls to the wall driving and slow as a snail driving. I don't understand why it took that long to run the tests , but it was what it was. I havent had an issue with the mustang yet, but when If I have to reset it, it way before i need an inspection.

Look online for the "drive cycle" criteria for your car. There are hoops that have to be jumped through. By driving it you will eventually get through them all. Or you can find out what the criteria is and drive specifically for that.

Oh man. Did you have the battery disconnected for some work being done lately which usually causes this issue. Hopefully it will clear for you before the next test.

I’m just going to keep driving until it hopefully clears.
No CEL or any issues. I have a random misfire for cylinder 8 sometimes for the stupid flaps in the manifold but it usually goes away on its own. I cleared it like last Wednesday.
