Of course, you just don’t get close to 6/90 full coverage for <$3K, correct me if I’m wrong.
My 6/40 was much more than that. I went with PremiumCare (so everything is covered), and went with disappearing deductible.

Also, I was looking at a Oxford/Blue ‘17 350 with 30k miles from Granger in Des Moines back in late February and the salesman, Jack, told me they no longer sell the ESPs on 350s older than ‘18 even in person.
I had asked how far the ESP can go, and he said 2011. He didn’t specifically look/try an older GT350 year, so can say for certain.

Anyway, I’m not still pissed or anything lol
I’d be too. But just means that one wasn’t meant to be.

Regarding warranties. When I bought my 18 last year at CarMax they offered their Maxcare warranty for 5 years and 75k miles for 2k. Covers everything and can also go to any Ford dealership for repairs. Not bad. Hopefully I'll never use it!.

Maxcare is great. I used it when I bought a used 911 that had a coolant leak and a bad ignition switch a month after I bought the car. The warranty was 2k with a 500 deductible and the repair at a Porsche dealer was 4.5k. They paid no questions asked.

Hey all thoughts on this car? I really am looking for stock wheels and don’t necessarily know if I love the hood, but the price is attractive and has a clean Carfax and very low mileage I’m going to call and see if it has any other mods. Would love your thoughts.

Looks like a CF hood, which is cool. The vents are definitely blasted by the sun, or they picked the worst color to paint it. It's also missing the front splitter.

I'd be curious what the rest of the underside looks like, if it's busted up. The splitter being MIA tells me it's hit quite a few curbs in it's life.

Poor quality pics, mods, missing parts, cheap tires... this screams avoid to me.
Thanks, agreed I looked at it again. I am not interested in clearly why it’s been for sale since March. I’m finding a difficult time finding them in South Florida. I am only going to be willing to buy out of the area from a reputable dealership.

My $.02. Demand OEM wheels, hood, wing/spoiler, diffuser, exhaust etc. Not because I’m some collector originality freak but because those are items you will probably end up wanting and they aren’t cheap. Also, the 295/35-305/35 OEM tire size isn’t common because the 35 profile is taller than the far more common 30 profile for those very wide section widths. I’ve seen way too many used 350s at dealers or private sale with either worn out tires or cheapo 25 year old tech Nitto 555 G2 tires because they’re a cheap option in those sizes. You want either OEM Pilot Sports or Sport Cup 2s or, a top tier max performance class summer tire like the Continental EC Sport/Sport02.

I have only been searching for cars with a “clean Carfax“ there is a difference between “minor damage“ and an accident. What are your thoughts on the clean Carfax? At this point I have excluded anything that is not clean. Would you consider cars with a blemish but not an accident?

I would not.
1. There is no way to know what the damage was. If you happened to buy from a private seller and they have before pics, where you can see what happened, then maybe.
2. If you are currently searching for one without damage (as many do), how would that impact things when you decide to sell later? If you get a good deal because of the damage, then is different.
There are many out there without damage, just continue to take your time.

The current challenge for me at this point is there’s not a lot in South Florida that I can physically see in the budget. I’m looking to be in. I have found a couple out-of-state that are where I want to be and look like really nice cars. I am only looking at major dealerships or large high-end specialty dealerships… None of these buy here pay here scenarios. but ideally, I’d love to find one near me if not, I’ll have to essentially buy it site unseen, and have it shipped.

That is what I did; sight unseen. I got a bunch of pics & videos from the seller, and talked with him a couple times. While I said I’d never do that, it ended up being comfortable for me.

You can also ask people here if they are local to a car you are looking at, and willing to check it out for you. Fairly good chance there is someone that would.
