Remember, the red X brace was also only ‘12. The LS X in ‘13 was only grey.
When are you going to post a pic of the red key 🤭

As someone who has owned 2 Boss 302s (Kona Blue 2012 and black 2013 LS), I thoroughly approve your purchase! Such fun cars and that engine is something else and does not pale in comparison to the Voodoo. I sometimes daydream about getting another and installing a TR3160 in it.

Interestingly, the front tires are made in France, whereas the rears are made in the USA.
The French-made tire has a slightly different sidewall and tread too it seems.
The stock front and rear are both made in the USA. Probably a GT350R spec Cup 2.

You have a Porsche spec tire (NO). See the NO on the sidewall down by the Cup 2 letters? That indicates a Porsche factory installed/spec tire. I don't know what else is different as far as compound, etc, but you've already noticed the obvious difference - no rim protector section. Good find, it's a great looking tire. Much better than the 350 version. The NO tire comes in 305/30 & 325/30.

I cleaned and polished my rotors, cleaned and lightly sanded my calipers, tape everything off and covered with plastic and will install my brake pads after I paint the calipers tomorrow morning. Oh and i cleaned and waxed my wheels.

Careful if you ever do any high speeds or spirited back road drives, those Z26 pads have a shocking lack of initial bite and then fade really fast after a couple of moderately hard slow downs. They are low dust though, that’s no lie. The G2 paint should look really good!

@wingnutt as I’ve said on other threads, with electrical problems, there will always be at least two symptoms. I’m guessing something else (or in addition to) besides voltage caught your attention? Is that just a stock replacement alternator? Did it fix your problem?

fair point, but mine was a sudden voltage spike…i got the SERVICE CHARGING SYSTEM NOW warning, followed up by center dash lights going off, stereo off, exhaust valves closed, and stereo said it was going into battery saver mode.

flipped over to the gauge and it was bouncing from 12.2-15.2, with anything over 14.5 tripping the dash warning. Push in the clutch and give her a quick rev would drop the voltage about every third time.

did a little poking around on here first and tried relieving the tension on the pigtail, to no avail. decided to embrace the suck and pull the supercharger off, swap and reinstall…all is well, and yes stock replacement without heated seats 😬👍🏼

Dang, you had to pull the blower to get to it? Oh well, quality time in the garage. Going from teh bottom wasn't an option (i never looked to see)?

Gave the new roommate its first bath. It’s officially mine…

Happy Father’s Day, you magnificent bastards!!

Did a full wash and detail on the Shelby and went to a car show in Green Bay.
Pretty good turnout with a wide variety of cars represented.
It's been almost 7 years since I purchased my 2019 GT350 and 6 years since the last production run. Today I discovered that the interest and enthusiasm for this car remains strong. Lots of compliments, questions, and respect for what Ford and Ford Performance produced.
