Shelby Mountain Run 2026

Hey y'all,

I just signed up for the Shelby Mountain Run 2026. Never done it before. Seems cool. July 15th - 19th. Located in Kingsport, TN. Looks like about 100 typically attend, mostly 350s. Consists of meetups, lunch, and daily drives that are separated by run group based on your comfort level. Link is below...I'll be leaving from North Georgia and was wondering if anyone wanted to convoy up to Kingsport?

I have a Mach 1 so I can't go to that one, but I always do the regular Mustang rally, this will be my third year. It is this week, leaving Wednesday. Steve puts on amazing events, you will have a blast... I have previewed the routes, they are really awesome this year

This will be six in a row for me. Steve runs a great event. It’s just an all around great time and great event.

How are the run groups split up? Are the first groups quite spicy?

Usually Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Whiskey groups. 20 cars max per group. Leaves at 15 minute intervals to coordinate gas and potty breaks. Usually in my experience Alpha and Charlie are spicy. I usually run Bravo. And if you prefer to be more "laid back" just gravitate to the end of the group. There is a chase car at the very end that is in constant contact with the lead car so they will not let you get lost. VERY well organized and communicated. I have enjoyed it every year I have went. And the Shelby routes are almost always the same as the regular Mustang routes the month before (this week for me) and the routes this year are amazing. You will have a great time. For what its worth, the regular Mustang rally, usually has 60-70 percent Shelby anyway

Oh I am looking forward to it. I bought a 360 camera, gonna run it this year. WIll get it all edited down and put on Youtube. Got 2 cameras, my boy is gonna run one on his S650 too... Typically somebody has a drone too, get some ariel shots.

Amazing event last week. Red Mirror events puts on a great event. And got to celebrate my boy's 26th birthday in style. Doing what we both love, DRIVE. And YES that is a REAL GTD

There’s a guy up in Wisconsin that got his GTD out on RA the week he took delivery. Has had it out there numerous times now, at least according to his social media. I’m going to try to get up there this summer and cross my fingers he’s there
