What I did was check eBay on the regular. Yates Performance, Blue Oval Industries and the like list them there when they get some. Got mine from Yates, free shipping, and the packaging was goodSo like... I need one of these, bad. Any advice on not missing my window of opportunity? The FP website says returning in stock Oct. 30th. Do I have to sit there at midnight on the 29th refreshing the page like a baboon trying to buy a PS5 online? Or can I call a specific guy at FP and put my name on a list?
Also, shipping cost? Were you guys happy with the packaging?

Much appreciated brother. I'm glad you finally have your car. What I did was check eBay on the regular. Yates Performance, Blue Oval Industries and the like list them there when they get some. Got mine from Yates, free shipping, and the packaging was good![]()

Thanks manAfter doing some digging with the part number, I found a few places selling it with no claim they're out of stock, but not sure...
If you want CF mirror caps, Ford now sells them in gloss or matte finish. And not the stick on kind, replacement caps.Holy thread resurrection Batman! OK, got that out of the way.
The winter was long and cold and out of boredom I finally broke down and purchased some CF dress items. FP bumper cover will go on down the road so for now I did the CF hood vent and rain tray. Very nicely done and I'm no fiber addict. I did buff and then ceramic coat the vent just to make it easier to clean but even if I hadn't, wow, does it ever pop at the right angles. Other angles it is rather subtle and you may not even notice the different vent. The rain tray is perfect and as light as a sheet of paper.

I'm glad you linked that. A few things here since I had been thinking about fiber for the mirrors. I didn't know there was crossover relative to the side mirrors on the S550 and S650. I see you can get them on the DH SC and wondered how stupid the price would be on them when Ford finally decides to list any fricking parts that you can buy. Likely over 1k I'd guess, so while these are relatively expensive, I assume they are less than what the OEM ones will be.If you want CF mirror caps, Ford now sells them in gloss or matte finish. Hood vent looks good, Tob.

Was going to say, Ford linked the gloss and the integrated turn signal part numbers in the description of the one I linked earlier. They have you covered! And I see that since I have integrated turn signals, I'd need these if I wanted them in gloss.

I don't know if all GT500's come with them but mine did. I forget all the trim level minutiae so forgive me for having to go look at my car.

Looks great Tob! Can’t wait to see pics of them on the car.I was beginning to think that my order would be cancelled as I was getting notified from Levittown that my order was in but that was it. I figured that once a human saw it, along with the price increase, that it wasn't going to happen. Well, today there was a rather large box (for a pair of skull caps anyway) sitting on my front porch. Levittown pulled through!

Well protected with a box within a box and then surrounded by foam and bubble wrap.

I have honestly never been a big fan of fiber everywhere but I can see how you can get hooked and not be able to stop. I'm addressing a few key areas and that's it. I hope fitment is as good as these things look because they look damn good in person.
