Found one near me, 5,000 miles. 2020 GT350, heritage package, technology package, track package. I love my Mach 1, but I am curious of the difference of the driving experience, from what I read. The GT350 is for sale for around $79,000. I just bought my Mach 1 a few months ago, so I owe $55,000 on it. I don’t think I’d have the balls to actually do it, or that it would make sense financially, but looking for opinions.

P.S. What would I be missing out on looking at a Non-R?

Also, an ESP is a MUST. If I cannot obtain one the whole fantasy dies there.

2020 or bust also for me.

Don’t go drive it unless you can financially afford to do what you’re considering.
It’s an epic car. I’m betting that both cars will remain desirable, but the gt350 is going to be an all time great. I think a 2020 gt350 heritage will retain value.
All that said, $79k seems high to me for 5,000 miles.
Maybe an R would fetch that…
I’m not the most informed in the heritage markup…

I suppose yes, I could make it work financially. More so that it may just be “dumb” in an on paper sense that I just got this car. Curious also yeah, what price is reasonable. I’d try to negotiate for sure. I guess curiosity is getting the best of me. Don’t get me wrong, I love love love my car, but if it’s really as good as they say, I have to know.

My 2016 R is the most exciting car I’ve ever driven.
I’ve been in a Mach 1 and driven a Dark Horse and liked both of them. But to me, the gt350 is a very special blend of mad and genius.
The Ford team made something unique. And for all its flaws, the 8k rpm dance with the devil is what will cement it as an icon and last of an era.

So in short, I’m the wrong person to ask.

A non r Heritage350 just sold on BAT for about 78k with the BAT buyer fee. An HER will be considerably higher. A forum member sold his HER a little while back with, if memory serves me low to mid 20k miles for 80k. That was a steal and went quick.

Now the OP wanting to know if it’s worth it, that’s completely subjective. I’m biased, and still have a built Gt that’s similar to the MACH1 less the tremec. If it was a daily I’d stick with the Mach 1, if it wasn‘t the 350 all day. They won’t make another car like the 350 ever again.

Don’t go drive it unless you can financially afford to do what you’re considering.

I will mention, this car is a 2020 GT350, Recaros, tech pack, track pack, exposed carbon fiber dash from what I can see. I won’t have the carfax or window sticker til Monday. So that’s all I got.

Damn! They HE really fetches a premium…
Thanks for educating me.
IMO, save the cash and get a non HE unless that’s specifically what you want…

The HE is badass as hell and I love it, but I would prefer saving the cash. Just seems with this kind of mileage they’re similar priced if not within a few thousand so seems worth it? I checked out 2020 GT350R’s and they’re like $100-120k which isn’t doable for me. IMO $80k is the MAX I can feasibly spend.

Go test drive it. Not sure if you will be able to rev it to 8K+ on the test drive, but if you do...it's over.

So, 2020 350’s that are low mileage and nice bring all the money to. 70’s is the norm. They just didn’t make that many. I had a 2020 regular 350 as well. Fantastic car. One thing that’s good for owners and bad for buyers is they hold there value and still bring over msrp pretty consistently.

Hmmm anything I’m missing over an R?

I've never driven a non R so I'm probably not the best person to ask. I'm sure it's more than enough for the street and the track for you. Personally, I wanted the top version of the GT350 so I bought an R.

@Inthehighdesert can help you on this one.

Do it Alec. At least test drive it, it’s a totally different experience.

Charlie can give you all the details between the non-R and R, but the R has stiffer springs, has the rear seat delete and has the CF wheels and CF wing. It has a different x pipe as well. It’s a more raw version of the non-R basically. Fantastic car, I’ve test driven a few and I’ve yet to drive another car like it.

$79K for an HEP is about right as far as price goes. As you know, it’s buying season for these types of cars in our area, it may not last long on the dealer lot.

You can also find S550 GT500’s (non-CFTP) around that same price with some miles on it (15-20K). Yes, I’m being a bad influence 🤣

I just have to know, right? I mean, I have all these parts that are in my signature sitting in my closet for my Mach. Before I spend the money, on that, I have to be sure.

As far as the non-R versus R, I think $80k is the absolute most I’d spend. I was looking at even 2019 R’s last night, and honestly most if not all, are more than that. So I guess I figure, look at the nicest version of the non-R I can swing. I will have more info Monday, but it appears to have obviously the HEP, carbon fiber dash, Recaros, tech pack, track pack and 5k miles. That’s a lot of car for me I think, though I am scared if I get it, I’ll get the same itch I’m having right now, but for an R. Though maybe not. Something about the non-R being attainable makes my mind do mental gymnastics about it, does that make sense?

Though anything below 2019-2020 are out of the question for me.

I think this car just came in. I’ll send you it in PM. Thing is, the GT500 doesn’t speak to me the way a 350 does, they’re cool as hell, but it never has. N/A, manual for me.
