New advice - looking at and test driving a GT350 tonight with possibility of buying

Wow a test drive most dealers won't give or allow one. What's to test drive ???
you will regret not buying one.

Make sure you like (and really fit) the seats. Several people, for example, have commented on how uncomfortable the Recaros are for long trips.

And shoot a video of your test drive. You may be the only person in the history of the world who has actually gotten to test drive a GT 350.

Prepare to make irrational purchases. (Thank god I didn't test drive one first or I wouldn't of been so tough on negotiating off the 5k ADM they wanted).

FWIW the OP didn't state he was looking at a GT350 at a dealer or private party so I'm not sure if dealer test-drive talk and ADMs are applicable.

Thanks for the seats comments. Its a new 2016 tech vehicle from a dealer with no adm. I'll be looking for paint issues on the hood, scratched stripes, etc. read something about spring spacers but think that was an R specific issue. Thething i am most curious about in a test drive is how it feels in normal day to day type driving driving from 1000-3000 rpms with the 3.73's.

It feels fine at those low rpms assuming you're in the right gear for the speed. Good luck keeping it below 4500 :lol:

Congrats on buying your new tech pack gt350.... I'm saying that because if I had test driven mine, I would have happily paid MORE for it. If you drive it and if you like cars, I suspect, chances are pretty good you will buy it. If you buy it, chances are pretty good you will enjoy the hell out of it.
