Getting close to done, I’m about 20 hours in, has been a hell of a few days. Literally everything I’ve done has been the first time doing it. Injectors and spark plugs alr done so just bap and oil change after this kit is finished
Badass brother. Looks mean already. Makes me wish i opted for the blacked out IC instead of the unpainted version.

I had to rotate the solid pipe that the MAF is installed in slightly away from the front of the car for clearance.

Also, trying to do the air filter and I guess they didn’t supply me with the 5/8 pcv connector, is this just a universal part I could pick up at an autozone?

Are you talking about the black hose that runs from the air intake to the drivers side of the engine? If so, I believe that's the one where you need to disconnect the existing factory connector and cut it out of the factory hose, then put it onto the ESS hose.

I’m an idiot, I was talking about the pcv fitting to connect a hose to the air filter pipe. It was already on the end of the hose in the box, in the instructions it was packaged away differently lol, just gotta figure out these vacuum lines and then check everythings fitment and close to done. Honestly I’ll be amazed if my car even starts after this lol

do you guys think the way my lower coolant hose is bending around the maf will be an issue? Best i could get it without redoing all the piping. Its all locked in tight

I'd be tearing it apart and redoing it. Don't like that kink in the hose. You may also have it on backwards. Rotating the pipe so the MAF points back towards the engine will free up more room too. Take a look at this video around the 3:00 mark to see how mine fit.

Hmm okay, the maf sensor actually plugs in fine and i dont think anything is touching it near the front like that, ill have to see how bad that kink is and if its obstructing flow. How would you know if that tube is backwards, I assumed it just fits both ways

I mean the tube from the coolant tank to the engine. Hard to tell from your pics if it's installed the right direction.

You may have installed the hose backwards but I agree with Mike. Loosen the clamps on the MAF pipe and rotate it so it's not hitting anything.

the tube coming from the IC to the MAF tube is not symmetrical.
I was talking about the hose from the coolant tank to the engine but agreed. If he has the IC/MAF pipe backwards it could be a problem too.

Is this an issue? My coolant tube was on backwards so it all fits now with no kink. I guess my IC left charge pipe does kind of come up a bit compared to the right side, but everything is snug now and not obstructing. My maf sensor is facing the right way yes
