So as the 2/2/15 expiration of the current Ford Rebate -OR- low interest rate promo approaches, has anyone heard rumors of or care to place a bet/vote on how the incentive plan 'might' be on Tuesday?
My 1/5/15 order is set for taking the $500 rebate or any higher amount should Ford raise it by time of delivery. I would love a nice surpise of an additional $500 added to bring the Rebate to a nice simple, even $1,000!:hail:
Select your best guess in the poll and we'll see how it shakes out next week.
Please add any comments, educated guesses or WA guesses in the comments.

Though I would love to see an increase in rebate amount, I don't think Ford sees a need to add more to attract more mustang buyers. They have us droolers lining up as fast as we can!

In my area the dealers are sitting on a pretty decent stockpile, not a lot flying off the lots.

Are Ford incentives tied to specific markets, or is it once incentive plan for all of U.S.?

Same here. Matter of fact any of the cars I was looking at before I ordered mine are all still there from a month ago.

I have had my car about 3 weeks. At the time I bought it I got a $500 rebate, forgot what they were calling it, and a $500 customer loyalty rebate for a total of $1000 off the x-plan price.

When I ordered mine in Nov dealer had 3, I went yesterday to look at mine and they have 6 including mine. The same 3 are still there, plus 3 others of course one is mine.

Do you get whatever incentives are active when you order the car even if they expire, or do you only get the incentives that are active at delivery?

It depends. A lot of rebates require the car to be delivered before it expires and sometimes the rebate only applies to cars delivered from stock.

In the big scheme of things rebates are intended to move existing inventory not apply to a car that has not been built.

All the incentives for my area want to "take delivery from dealer stock."

I was told that I would get the $500 rebate even if it was gone or if there was a better one I would get the higher Rebate. I think as long as they have any pad / profit in your deal there's room to give you some discount no matter what they call it

Here in Vegas they are selling well. A few wks ago I was at the dealer (nothing wrong
with my car) and they had 3 Mustang buyers on the lot; a few days ago my dealer call
and wanted to ask me questions about COTUS for another Mustang buyer. Some states
have people that are cooler then other areas of the country. "I may date a Plain Jane
but I will never drive one".

I may be reading it wrong, but looking at the incentives on Fords website it looks like you can use the $500 switch cash AND the low interesting rate financing at the same time. The switch cash expires today but the financing continues through march.
