code or recent link for the factory order 1k rebate

Hi there mates, my dealership is being kinda weird on my order. I brought up to the sales manger who is handling my order regarding ford's 1k discount/rebate on ordering certain vehicles (mustang in this case, which qualifies) and he was "unware of any such thing". I know it expires on 4/4/2022, but I was wondering if anyone could direct me to an official Ford code or a more recent article that pertains to the 1k rebate. A lot of googling shows articles from 2021, and in trying to be bullet proof, I would like to present a more recent updates that the offer is still outstanding or direct link to Ford stating such a matter.

you are absolutely correct, it can be found at the bottom. It says that you have to take delivery of the said vehicle by the due date. Has anyone had any issues about redeeming the offer post 4/4/22 since the delays on build are so long? I assume since my sales person is being obtuse about this, I have close to zero chance of them honoring it even though the order was placed months ago.

MX5 Racer...Where did you get the info on July extension? It makes sense given all of the delays but I would like to have appropriate written confirmation of the extended (July) date in case my dealer says no. My car should be delivered within the next few weeks. Thanks.

Ford custom order web page. It's very clear. Your dealer is trying to screw you or was asleep in the quarterly briefing.

I am not going to attribute it to malice quite yet, ill give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are just ignorant of current rebates offers. My concern, and it's quite evident that I am not the best at deciphering legalize text, it states as long as the order is placed prior to 4/4/2022, you are good. But then on the rebate, it mentions take delivery also before that date.

"1k retail order bonus cash. Place a new vehicle order for X vehicle on or before 4/4/22 and receive a 1k bonus cash offer."

"Residency restrictions apply. For all offers, take new retails delivery from an authorized ford dealers stock by 4/4/22"

We have an Explorer on order and our dealer says the order bonus pertains to when you placed the order, not delivery date and you get that no matter what. Financing and other rebates you can choose either what's offered on ordering date OR delivery date.

And that is why the current retail MODEL IS FAILING! It is total malice. If the guy in charge of a million dollar inventory is unaware of current corporate incentives, he's an idiot and its a sign of how well after-sale support will be. If he IS aware, which I'm sure he is, he's playing dumb in hopes only the informed customer will call him out on it. Most customers are clueless on what incentives are available, and in these low inventory times, dealers don't need to offer incentives. Go to a dealer you are more comfortable with. You should not feel like you need to fight to spend your $50,000. They are out there, just call around.

I had several dealers in my area (Eastern North Carolina) deny that the $1000 incentive exists. When I pointed it out, the response was "we couldn't see it on our end." So, you're either lying or incompetent, because it's right there on the Ford web site and I have a hard time believing that dealers didn't know about it or "couldn't see it."

Hence why I ordered from Chapman.

My dealer didn’t know about the $1k incentive either, but they were quick to give it me after just showing a screenshot. Either they’re trying to rob you of every last penny, or there aren’t that many factory orders being placed at that dealer. Likely the latter. You’re not going to have peopling flooding in to place a custom order for their dream spec Explorer

Even Chapman gave me a smokey response: " I would have to double check once the order receives a VIN if the bonus cash applies. The Mustangs aren't always compatible" The order is for a 22 GT Convertible. Pretty clear cut its compatible to me. Which is why I posted the question on another Chapman thread.

I truly believe they are playing the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" game. Then playing dumb when asked about it. I mean c'mon, the ads are all over TV and its thier job to know this crap.
