Would probably be less noticeable with touchup paint, but gouges in aluminum would still be there. If that is a major problem for you, look for a place that specializes in fixing aluminum wheels. I have seen a lot of repairs that were not noticeable at all when they were done, and cost is usually less than a new wheel. When the Fusion was new, I curbed it thanks to some black ice and scraped the hell out of a wheel. Fortunately, I found one with no damage cheap on eBay. Since these are so new, that path may be a challenge.

Feels like a gash through paint. Does anyone know where would one find such touch-up paint?

Edit: ^ crosspost...Luckily, it appears the aluminum itself is unharmed.

There are wheel/rim repair places (some are mobile) out there. They can fix scratches, curb rash...quite a bit of stuff can be repaired. Most charge about $75/Rim. YellowPages will have 'em.

If it really bothers you then go get it fixed, it won't be much. But then what happens when you scratch them again?

Wheel repair...mobile....can do wonders. Have had that done with a VERY scratched...curbed wheel. Looked like new again...well, almost. The particular wheel repair business did it "too quickly" meaning...not painting in a "clean" environment....so my paint had lots of "dirt" caught up. So, finding the top quality repair folks is the key....but, it certainly can be done well.....and just might be...should be...much cheaper than replacing the wheel.

Yup. The wheel on my Genesis Coupe (painted silver instead of black, but same process) looked just like this. I had it repaired and was never able to find the repaired spot.
