I picked up a gt350 front sway bar to put on my '15 PP. The sway bar didnt come with bushings or the bracket. From what ive seen the bushing part number is FR3Z-5484-C but i cant really find that part anywhere other than from Ford for almost $60 each. Looking on american muscle i only see front bushings listed at 33.3mm but if im not mistaken the gt350 bar is 34mm. AI is saying that its possibly the same bushings as the 34mm used on f250s and f350s but i cant confirm. Looking for ideas.

I am in the same boat. Have a GT350 front bar that I will install this Spring. I too saw the prices of the bushings and would like to know if I need new brackets.

The stock brackets fit on my FP sway bar, but they were stock for the 350. I have to imagine they fit across all s550s.

I finally got around to doing this last night. I didnt know my performance package front sway bar had the brackets bonded to the sway bar. I ended up ordering oem sway bar brackets and bushings for the regular GT. The bushing didnt want to compleyely wrap around the 34mm bar initially. I put it on and as i was tightening the bracket i alternated sides and the bushing conformed. The sway bar is tight with no side to side movement but is able to rotate.

If i ever have to change bushing again i will go with these since they are 33.3mm. Should be less of a fight getting them on with the bracket but should still be tight.

Thanks for the info. I made it work with the regular GT bushings. I think its such a rip off that the gt350 bushings are double the price just for a 2mm bigger hole.
Agreed. Not on this Mach 1, but on my previous one I had to replace the belly pan. It was like $900 from Ford, versus $100 for a GT belly pan. Supply and demand I suppose.

I was gifted the GT350 sway bars. I was excited for the cheap upgrade and then saw the price of the bushings for the front 😂. Still a savings overall though.
Yes no doubt, still good savings. A great mod at that too, I’m sure you’ll feel a nice difference.

Good point. I have noticed theres no cheap aftermaket replacements online like the GT stuff. Probably not enough demand for the cheap chinese companies to even bother on some bushings for a low volume trim.

Yea. I managed to get a brand new gt350 swaybar for $120 and was shocked to see the bushings were gonna be more than the bar lol
