Hello, I have a gen 3 with a 10r80 with the Vortech v3 jt blower, I’m sitting at around 800whp on the 3.3 pulley on e85 headers and dual fuel system, I was curious if anyone has had issues running the 3.1 pulley and how risky it was, I talked to Vortech and they said it’s a 50/50 but I was curious about personal experiences first hand. I was also considering upgrading to ess or the v7 ysi, the ess is around $3000 more but I can also sell my current setup privately, Thanks in advance

You would have been better off posting this in the F/I section rather than here.

I've seen Serna5.0 run 3.1 on his pacton 2200SL which I've heard is a very similar setup to the V3-Jt. I have the V3 as well but just for the health of the blower, I would just stick to the 3.3, I haven't seen anyone on a v3 on a 3.1 to be honest.

To change the blower oil, do you change through the vent plug on top so you wont have to take off the throttle body? I've heard people do that I just want to be extra sure before I drain my oil.
