Staggered setup

As someone who will just be using my new S550 for a daily driver and the odd hard acceleration is it worth sacrificing the ability to rotate my tires? I know I would get better traction but I don't plan on racing it (other then to possibly get revenge on my buddy's EVO X) I know the price of the tire jumps about 2-300$ to go from 275's to 305's in the rear. Anyone who uses their S550's as Daily drivers notice anything that have and are not staggered anymore? I know fatter tires in the back looks amazing but having always used all seasons i'm really not sure on how fast rear summer tires would wear out.

Evos can get real fast real quick, you may need more than tires.
I run 315/35/20 rears lowered 1 inch, the car rides amazing, no rubbing issues.

Haha yeah its just for fun as he killed my V6 when I pulled against him for fun. Just trying to figure out if I wanna save some money and put an intake on or fatter tires. I know I'll have no rubbing issues. What do you run in the front? 275?

Yes, I run 275/35.
As for mods, your best bang for the buck from my experience with my old 5.0 would be

Cat / resonator delete / bullet muffler / and an AED tune.
You will easily dip into the 11s with the right tire.

It comes down to the wheels you use and your personal preferrenxe. For instance many of the setups i have done have been a staggered setup using wider rears, it does provide additional contact patch for traction, but at the end of the day it comes down to what you desire.

Yeah I think for the majority of my mods I may wait and see what ford racing is going to offer though I am leaning towards steeda. I don't think I'm going to lower the vehicle as we have awful roads here.

If i do go with staggered I would be using a 20x 10.5's in the rear and 20x9 in the front. Any suggestions on widths and sidewall sizes? Would be verde v99 axis gloss bronze wheels.

Buy a set of budget rear wheels and wrap them with drag radials.
I still spin my 315/35/20 MPSS, they make an amazing tire but are not the best option for straight line traction.

The only benefit to staggered is the look of a giant rear tire. Squared will be more balanced in corners and you can rotate. Since 10" squared setups fit I honestly don't know the draw to staggered.

I would do a 275/35/20 and 315/35/20

Or

285/35/20 and 305/35/20

All depending on the tire, i carry verde wheels let me know if i can help out.

On the rear no problem, on the front it may be to much i would do a 285/35/20 instead up front and either a 305 or 315 on the rear

Yes a 305/35/20 can fit the rear on a 10" non problem ive done a number of those setups on the new stang and it fits great you can even do 315 on a 10" and it fits great as well.

I just did deizals setup yesterday 10" rear wrapped in 315s and i did ryans setup a few weeks ago 20x10 targas 285/305 and lowered also.

Both setups are no rub setups i have a fitment guarantee on everything so i make sure what we do for setups fits right and looks right also.

I'm not really to worried about straight line traction as it will be a daily driver tire. MPSS is what i would be buying from all the reviews on them. As much as I love the look of directional tires these seem to be the best.

I noticed the comment about cornering as well with a staggered setup. Is it that noticeable?

You guys have to realize that just because you can "fit" a large tire over a certain width doesn't mean that it is optimal for performance. You have to calculate how much of that tire actually makes proper contact with the ground under load (the tire's contact patch).
