What I'm really interested in is how to trap 120 mph. Cheapest, easiest, and most reliable...between the GT and EB.

Can you compare recipes for this?
The GT would need about another 50-60Whp for the 8MPH gain.
Cylinder heads
Headers
Tune
Exhaust
$5k

Race tuned EB needs another 6MPH
Race dump
Intake
Turbo upgrade
Meth
160° Thermostat
$5070

Mike ran that with his car, tune, intake and tires so that is realistic.
I know, that has been our argument the ENTIRE time, but a few in the group have doubted our results at every post!

At that that point (5K) for the GT, I'd spend another grand and get a centri.

Given the lack of data available for EB cars running an Intake/IC/DP with a custom tune, I think people are sorely underestimating this engine's capabilities. Few people are bothering to modify/tune since it's winter, things will start to take off with the warmer weather letting more owners get in the game.

Also, this wouldn't be the first turbo DI 4 banger to run into fuel concerns early in the game. I'll be surprised if it's anything more than a minor speed bump. I would be surprised if the solution doesn't end up being a standard supporting mod like the HPFP internals are on mazdaspeeds.

My 2012 base GT trapped a best of 119.5 with basic bolt-ons. It did not even have a Boss intake or longtube headers. It had an AED Tune, JLT, O/R exhaust, shocks, struts and LCA/Brackets and an MT-82. It was a 3.31 car on 26 inch stiffs. I sprayed a 100 shot on it and it cracked the 10's on a 28. I am thinking of getting a 2013 Boss, doing the full exhaust (with long tubes this time), a JLT, enough suspension to hook it and spraying the house down on it with a direct port and a a 200-250 shot.

Oh, and I got my ass dragged by a couple of lightly modded Coyotes with my EB at The Pad in NOLA...for those of who know what that is. I even had a tire and the hit. They just came around me after 3rd.

A what about the cam and all the supporting parts? That's another $3-5k!
? Since when do you need cams or anything else? Sure that will help make even more power, but not required.

There is a guy on here running just the procharger HO (maybe cat back too, can't recall) and he dyno'd at 545whp with just the canned 91 octane tune.

Don't need the cams to hit 600 with the Paxton.
No, but it is no secret that you will turn the #8 rod and piston into a molten mixture of metal.... 600 is the limitation of the rod piston combo.

It's the 11.8 hero run that has people doubting....that's almost a second off what the normal person will run, big difference.
Except for the fact that it is only .25" off of our 12.19 ET.

RUN OUR TUNES, PARTS AND FUEL. Until that happens you cannot call us out.

What do we have to gain by lying? We are not only in this tiny Mustang market. We have race teams, OEMs and multi-million dollar multi-national accounts that we would lose by lying about ANY section of our business. Is that worth fabricating results of a $30,000 car?

I think Anthony posted exhaust, intake, and tune from you guys was good for ~450rwhp...no $2k+ heads. That should be damn close to 120 capable. This kind of acceleration would be available at any time...full weight, stock wheels, pump gas.

Your EB combo seems to have some compromises to match that performance...fuel, missing interior pieces, partial exhaust, skinnies...
