Very cool. That is an interesting irony that you got your Mustang to 289..I did 289km/h fully stock
Cool video. You would think that the huge wing, in any configuration, would slow the car with drag. Must be some instability at high speed. Hard to believe that once up to speed that there is a traction issue, but maybe that thing is making a bunch of hp.
Okay, I had to look it up. His twin turbo GT350 is making 2000 horsepower. So that is how you get to 273 mph. Makes me wonder how much the ticket would cost on a public road.. or would the cop just stand there and clap?
@350 Feet see aboveon a stretch of unrestricted highway
The ticket is the least of your worries, the better question is how much jail time you'd be getting.Makes me wonder how much the ticket would cost on a public road
US cars are speed limited as well. I believe 155mph for GT’s and 168mph for the Mach? Not 100% sure but that’s what I recall seeing. GT500’s are higher but I don’t remember what the speed limiter is there.Euro/UK cars restricted to 155MPH I believe
Yeah, but the restriction can be easily turned off with a tuning tool. I've disabled mine, but wasn't able to test it. I only got to 248 km/h before having to slow down due to traffic. I was hoping to see at least 255, just to confirm that the limiter was indeed off, but sadly I couldn't. Maybe next time.Euro/UK cars restricted to 155MPH I believe
