Fitting Air Cup suspension on my coilovers.

Not sure if anyone else here did same job on mustangs. Did plenty of research but have to do that by myself.

The air cup system can lift the car as an air suspension but fitted on coilovers.

I currently running KWV3 coilovers, fitting the air cup system requires changes almost everything on the coilovers.

Now I just finished the sturts, now modifying air tank. Hopefully it works.
If someone did that on mustang here can I know your spring rate?

Curious to see how this turns out , this could be on my play list in the future . Kit doesnt seem overboard price wise . My driveway is a bitch and this would help a lot . Good luck with it

It’s not as cheap as you’d think. 90% of aftermarket coilovers use thicker springs, meaning you’d have to swap in Vorshlag custom top mounts just to run slimmer springs. As of now, the only ones I know that are directly compatible with air cups are BC Coilovers.

Haven't done air cups on a Mustang but I'm running around 8k front/6k rear spring rates on my KWs - might need to go softer since the air cups will handle some of the load.

No, there's no load on these air cups while you're driving. You can keep your car slammed on coilovers, and the air just stays in the tank. When you hit a speed bump or a driveway, just hit the button to lift it about 2 inches. It’ll stay up as long as you’re going slow

I have Shockworks coil overs ,springs are smaller coils and the top mount looks ok , i think might be a bit easier than what you are doing . Whats your thoughts on how these coilovers look ?

Local supplier in brisbane so will take a shock in to get an idea whether its doable . Lets us know how yours works out 🤘

No need to worry about slopes and speed bump now, and I can also have the great handling from coilovers.
