I got a Ford Performance track handling suspension kit and now the car is so much more fun and confidence inspiring without being harsh. I legitimately giggle every time I get behind the wheel now.

Got a tin poster with various Mustang models up through the S197's.

And ironically - a repro "painting" of a '69 Camaro SS 396. (My dearest friends aren't car people, and didn't realize it was not a Mustang.)

I told them It's a pony car, a muscle car, and I like and appreciate the whole category. I also appreciate that the now-gone competitors helped build the competitive pressure that made it possible for us to drive some of best Mustangs ever over the decades.

We can only hope that for the future, Ford has the vision to see the Mustang is the only "halo" vehicle they have that the majority of non-car fanatic people know about and would recognize.

It’s funny you should bring up non-car people.
A month ago, while online, I spotted a glass decanter made in the exact shape of a 1965 Mustang. Thought it was so cool that I ordered one. Just last week it arrived. I was so disappointed upon opening it because the company had actually sent one in the shape of a ‘67 Camaro! It turns out that I could not return in, so I gave it to a guy at the hardware store that likes Camaros.
Guess he needed it more than I did.
