Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

The 5.2-liter "Voodoo" V-8 is one of Ford's most ludicrous projects. This large-displacement flat-plane-crank engine produces a howl unlike anything to come from this continent, and we love it for that. The fact that it revs all the way to 8250 rpm doesn't hurt either.

Well, Ford chose sound over reliability, and they did a great job. Unequal length headers (like Subarus) and a flat-plane crank (like a Ferrari) did the trick. And yet the engine is a catastrophic when it comes to reliability.

We’ll see if GM got the reliability part right with the LT6, because it already sounds and performs incredibly.

Can’t believe Ford pulled the wool over so many people’s eyes with that piece of shit engine. Whichever 350’s @wingnutt doesnt take at reduced prices, I’ll take one and eagerly await the motor to blow up

GT350 is for sure the best sounding vehicle I've owned or driven, excluding aftermarket cammed old school V8s. I had a cammed 302 running off a factory 1989 ECU and I just loved the raw, uneven idle. That car sounded amazing at full song as well. There's nothing better than a nasty, choppy idle. Of course, it didn't make much for power, but it did sound good.

They all sound good, but the Mustang has the best sound hands down. In every clip the Mustangs sound out preforms all the other. Some are just high-pitched whiney sounding. Only the Mustang has the deep growl in every gear. And if the Mustang doesn't do it for you watch any video of the GT 40 with a V8 and all the others you have a fondness for can a back seat. Sorry boys. Mustangs have the sound.
