Their tires are banned on work vehicles in my area due to constant defects and blowouts from the defects.
Who is talking about work trucks we are talking about PS4S here, one of the best sports car street tires for the last 4-5 years for daily driving and in rain. Only other tire I'd run is Continental.

Besides I don't know how your job cheaps out on tires and only runs ling longs that last 80k miles but stop for shit or something but are designed to not blow out for cheap ass owners. Like a trucking company that just let their tires fall apart on the highway in front of me because they are so cheap would affect my decision on my tires.

Michelin and quality? Their own quality control shows that 1 batch of tires can have treads varying by as much as 8/32.
You got real data that backs that up? For car tires? 8/32 is basically standard tread depth for PS4S, so you’re telling us that some PS4S’s are coming out near bald while others are coming out full tread in the same batch? I call bullshit

To have a full tire variation within the same exact batch and even if it was 2 batches everyone. Else is within 1-2/32 variation between batches. Michelin can't make shit consistent or solid. Their tires are banned on work vehicles in my area due to constant defects and blowouts from the defects.
I’ll call bull on this post. We’ve run Michelins on everything from Large pickups to cars, pulling trailers, you name it. Always consistent, long lasting, smooth riding, etc. Only other brand I like that’s about the same is Continental.

I’m trying the Atlas tires out on the front. 285/35/19. Heard some good things about them. I just put highway miles on the car, and paid $111 each shipped. About 10k miles so far and they’re wearing fine. I’d get about 45k out of the Falken/Ohtsu tires.

I went through this a few months back on my old work truck. I ended up going with a set in 225/70r19.5 and they’ve been solid so far. Didn’t cost a fortune either. I tested them on a long haul with a small trailer and they held up way better than I expected.

I’ve been in analysis paralysis over tires lately. I’m on stock-size PP1 PS4S and really like them, but I’ve got new wheels on the way and can’t get them in the size I want, so I’ll likely go with ECS 02s. Im a little worried about that. I’m going 305 in the rear and don’t want a “30” series tire. There aren’t many options in 305/35, and I’m trying to stay as close as possible to the stock 275/40/19 diameter. Im going 285/35/19 up front. So looks like ECS 02's, I just believe in buying the best possible tire for a car like the mustang. However my truck does great on the Discount Tire brand Pathfinders.

Discount tire aquired Tire rack in 2021 and is owned by Reinalt-Thomas Corporation but I am a fan of Discount Tire.

Just put four 305/30/19 MileStar Interceptors on my MACh1 yesterday. The Coopers lasted 15K miles rotating them every 3K. I just can't fathom $2K every 15K miles. With tread warranty from Discount Tires on the Coopers I was out the door for less than $300 for 4 new tires! Cold out......sh*tty roads, but the where good up to 126 MPH.
