QQ: Any tuners or someone with experience data logging know if the stock calibration includes torque management when shifting?
Just to be clear, I am not talking about traction control or advance track.
Ford typically uses torque management during various conditions to help drive ability, ease the stress on different drive train components etc.
Usually it shows up most often as the ECU pulling timing (or boost in boosted application) specifically during shifting.
The reason I am asking is during spirited driving and I’m shifting below say 5K and hammering it, feels like the engine is pulling timing, even with traction control and advance track turned off.
However at full tilt shifting above 7K it will certainly grab and spin the tires going into 2nd and 3rd.

Thanks!!!
