Active Exhaust not working in Sport and Track Mode

I noticed the rumble/exhaust sound not changing when moving to Sport and Track Mode from Normal. You can hear the clicks from Quiet to Normal but not from Normal to Sport and Track. The baffle is closed at quiet, 1/2 way opened in Normal, open in Sport and Track but the sound is not there. Fuse is good, no frayed wires from the plug in an actuators (both sides which is a know issue). Any help out there?

I would say it has to be the actuator. Even if the wires aren't visibly worn, there can be a short somewhere in the wire. Mine would go in and out. How many miles on the car?

The actuators collect a lot of road debris. They may need to be cleaned out, or you could have issues with the wiring/actuators as others mentioned. Only way to know is drop the exhaust, remove the actuators, and see if your exhaust valves move easily when you turn them by hand.

What he said. Especially with 41k miles. Mine started giving me trouble at 5-8k miles....It's in a jacked up position that will eventually cause issues. When you get a new (and you most likely will) just zip tie it up and try to avoid too many bends. It's very easy. You'll have no more issues after that! These

Hello mustang friends. I have the same problem. Took it to one dealership and they ended up giving me a new exhaust. Than took it to another dealership which couldn't find problem after 300 bucks of time. Now I see its not the flaps. Where is this actuary thing. Ill take it to my mechanic to use his hoist to see if i have it. Please and thank you.
