Is this the infamous 2k rattle?

Just installed a stage 2 P1X ProCharger and driving for first time. I don’t know if this is spark knock or the 2k rattle I’ve seen many threads on.

It only does this when you are driving and give it gas under a little load. Doesn’t make this noise at idle.

I can t hear it well enough but I d "guess" the 2K rattle by your description of when/how it happens.

I wonder if it’s always been there but I can hear it more now with the gt350 intake tube?

Gonna ask about it Monday morning. It’s still on the first tune that PBD sends. I’m assuming that’s the base tune? I’m new to the tuning process so not sure.

Update us when you find out. Hard to say because recordings are hard to go by but it doesn't sound like the standard 2k "rattle" but like you said a different intake and changed fueling parameters might make it sound worse than it is

Will do. Only thing that is keeping me from really stressing about it being a hurt motor is it will not make the sound reving in park. It Only does it while driving.

yeah, see on mine i can get it to make the sound in neutral holding the rpms around 2k.

I wonder if it’s a spark knock? Is it even okay to cruise and make sure I stay out of boost on the first tune?

Knock retard is a higher pitched "pinging" sound. Sounds like some loose exhaust clamps or some shit.
