So I thought many of you would find this interesting. There is consistent complaining about what our cars cost. I think this will help put it in perspective.
24-valve SOHC V-12 5576 cc (340 CI). 372 horsepower at 5300 rpm/402 pound-feet of torque at 4000 rpm
0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds
The quarter mile in 13.9 seconds at 102 mph
0.85-g cornering limit
Base Cost (31 years ago) $108,395
Now I know this is a more luxurious car but all the sudden a Dark Horse for $70-80K seems more reasonable.
