I had a Kenwood and it was quite posh - because you could change the illumination from green to amber ...

I really wanted an Alpine CD player - they didn't skip as easily on bumps (or with bass)

Everything works just like stock. The only thing you are removing is the stock screen.

When I had a Jeep, a forum guy pointed me to this company, as he some of their gear. I’ve put two of them in our vehicles and they are really nice. Not too expensive, even if you get the 2K resolution screen (which is worth it). Easiest stereos I’ve ever installed. Should be able to use Fordpass as well. Also allows use of steering wheel controls, and the volume knob still works.

Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Will even take a SIM card if you want it connected to a network.

Will be getting one for my 2020 soon.

Yep came with the toggles I had that same concern. But yeah they came pre installed.

Is there any offline NAV with this screen like the the factory NAV cause at times I drive in the countryside where no good cellular signal is around for my service plus it eats up data at times?
