So this dealer you want to trade to can or can not tranfer the warranty , it s up to them?
Also they may or may not pay you more for your trade , it s up to them again?

Only I as the owner of the contract can transfer the warranty, and only straight to a private buyer.
(as previously noted, does not matter if car goes to that buyer through a dealer.) All the buyer needs to initiate a transfer is a copy of the letter from me okaying the transfer which he/she can provide to Ford and, which I could give to the dealer at any time. The dealer could pay me more for this letter, as it would make the sale easier and for more money. Since he doesn't believe it is transferable and I can't convince him, that is not an option. The Subaru has an ex Ford employee who thinks he knows something. The dealer does not seem interested in making any effort in verifying the transferability.

From Skye's previous post.

1A. TRANSFERABILITY: You may transfer this Agreement, subject to
a $75 transfer fee. You or the transferee of this Agreement must
initiate the transfer process by providing the following items to any

Michigan 48121 within 180 days of the vehicle sale:
(i) a letter, signed by You, transferring this Agreement to the
transferee; (ii) a statement of the mileage on the Vehicle at the time
of transfer; and (iii) the name and address of the transferee.
