It was modified from a S197 Mustang GT. So when ford came out with their dark horse years later I was let down when the Saleen version looks better and still does.

Mach 1 Vs. Dark Horse. Does anyone here owe their alliance to a chunk of metal and plastic here? Matter very little which proceeds the S (S550 or S650). I didn't purchase Mach 1 to be in someone's gang. I like both the Mach 1 and Dark Horse, and only allegiances are to America and Christ. What I like best about the DH, its blue interior, and it's blue Tremec blue shifter ball.

I like them both as well. I actually probably lean Mach ever so slightly but it’s close. But had to make a comment to mix it up a bit

The Mach 1 by a landslide!

That is the only problem with the Darkhorse. They were too busy trying to make it look like something else and completely screwed up the looks. They really needed to go the other way and make even more distinguishable.

Great running gear, but just too copy cat to GM Hyundai and Dodge.

Should have just stayed Ford.
