No disrepect but yes those are extremely peely actually its dry spray is what you have. I do custom paint and body own a hydrographics business and when I do covers it looks like you could jump in and take a swim thats how wet they look. If people are happy with that then ford should come on this forum and realize they can use krylon to cut back on costs as people cant tell the difference

Wow those look great! The red letters would look good with my ingot silver.

Very nice. What kind of caliper paint did you use. Did you have to prime it? How many coats? I am interested in painting mine red.

Although I'm not a fan of the bright green, this thread does have me thinking. The '65 cars motors were painted all black with gold valve covers and air breather. Considering this is the 50th anniv. year cars, I'm actually considering painting mine gold as a "throw back" to the original.

I thought about gold too! It was down to Burnt Orange, Green, Gold, or Grabber Blue

It would look damned good with your black car. I say do it. I might buy some extra covers and keep my originals stock just in case I decide I don't like it.

Did mine in black and red. I'm not that big of a fan of shiny. This keeps the texture of the covers and still looks quite good to me. Also, that is not red overspray on the black, it's just a lil dusty.

How are you doing the 2 tone in the recesses. Are you taping, hand painting, filling with grease?
