What a Fantasitic forum. Folks with common interests who've helped others down this road, so varied with different overall goals for many years.

I've seen and read many many posts responding to inquiries about various mods and improvements. It's really nice to see with limited bias.

I am proud of
being a newbie member, rolling in a nearly stock car but having others offered advice.

This place is filled with a bunch of decent folks who want to help the uninitiated get down the road in the manner in which they reached out.

It's greatly appreciated and acknowledged.

Keep it going please.

There are so many folks who are are more experienced, more Hard core, more mechanically Inclined than I and many of of others are.

Bigtime thanks to those who have both the knowledge and the experience to guide the newbies through the questionable portions of our mods.

Thank you for sharing.

I love my 2 F550's, and I thank you guys for helping me get it down the road to where I want it to be.

Thumbs up Dudes & Dudettes.

Tear it all up to your discretion.

Luv this Joint!

Consider this... 64,000 members? almost 4 million posts?

I'm not sure any other forum for any one generation of vehicle has this many members??? It's actually quite amazing for a ten year old car to have that many forum members.

I think the only comparison would be vwvortex, but that is all generation and type of VW...

Anyway, it is very cool indeed.

A priceless forum deep in experience and knowledge a reason to choose a Mustang on its own if DIY or into tuning especially. Thanks everyone!

Corral.net probably has the most members and threads out of all Mustang sites…. I’ve been a member there since its inception in 1995 (now going on 30 years)…. Their site stats show as of 2001 (207k members / 9.8M posts), but that is because there was a massive server crash in 2001 that wiped out a lot of the logged forum history…. Including the user base because we as members had to re-register in 2001 and all of our post counts started at 0 again… LOL. So those forum stats seen are from the point of the crash pick up and total post counts there should be 3x what it states from the recovery point. So if you see me here, you may have run across me there too. I’m still active there because I have my 94 Cobra and a 93 SSP, so I’m the same helpful Mustanger over there too where I started with the Fox 5.0 owners.

Aside from Corral and here, I’m on quite a few sites where my content approach and format is the same as here and some of it has been stickied historically on those sites as well… LOL.

I just do it to help others, because long ago when I was a newbie the internet pretty much was non-existent being in its infancy and there was no one to help me…. I look at it from this perspective, whether if it is a newbie or tech head posting for help, if I can offer help to that person when they are seeking it, they may get their issue resolved, they can learn, and be better as they grow in the hobby too. I’m giving the help I never had during my start in the hobby and I’d hope others do the same in return for the next person.

No one should ever discredit a newbie or not respond to their posts (no matter how many times a similar question has been asked, responded to or solved), because we ALL started out as one and we’re always learning - even folks like me having owned many Mustangs and who’s been in the Mustang arena for over 35+years or more…

To the OP:
Thanks for your thoughtful and well written post. It’s not often that folks do appreciate others who put in time to help out or guide others to a possible solution. We as an Enthusiast Group all have one thing in common regardless of the S550 platform each of us owns - it’s the Mustang. So whether a new owner to the Mustang or someone who’s owned 20, 30+ varieties of them through the years, we all come to these sites as a Mustang Enthusiast first, where platform (year/make/model) shouldn’t matter and we’re all “friends”.

:) 🙌

I bought a 23 WRX last year and was hoping there was a forum like this for that car. I haven't found anything close haha. Was definitely disappointed but goes to show you what a resource this site can be. Aside from the occasional thread going sideways or people being D bags for no reason haha.
