I test drove one last week and couldn't get over the feeling of the front end pointing skyward while I was driving. I felt like I was in a airplane rolling down the runway getting ready to take off. I haven't heard anyone else complain about this...please tell me it's just me.

LOL. I thought it was just me. You are not alone, I get the same feeling when I drive mine, especially since I sit so far back. Not a deal-breaker, but it is a somewhat odd feeling.

Thats just the loss of the "fat ass" (like my '11 had. :))

It does have a bit of that, but I still think the view is so much better I'm much less afraid of curb rash, since I feel like I have a better perspective looking forward. My seat is all the way back too, I think it might make that feeling worse.

Maybe its a return of the gassers :)

It really doesn't bother me but it is definitely different. Took a little time to get use to.

Drive some of the older mustangs pre 73 and you won't complain as much. Those hoods look like they go forever. I drive my uncle's 66 throughout the summer so it doesn't fell that bad in the 15

^ This. Definitely retro, and good I like to see a real hood in front of my car.
Funny go back and read reviews when the '05 came out, they were saying the same thing. Things like looking down a football field & being on the bridge of an aircraft carrier..

I drove one yesterday for the first time and the hood was the first thing I noticed. I had a smile on my face the whole time and by the time the test drive was over I had already gotten used to the longer hood and liked looking at the hood vents. The car felt strong and fast but refined at the same time, like all it took was a downshift to go from cruising calmly to just flying down the road. I was very impressed.

And the ridges.. I love them, almost like targeting devices.

Now I'll be interested to see how it compares to my '04 cuz I feel like the front end of my car goes forever as it is lol.

Drive fast, pass on the right. [emoji594][emoji100]

yea look at the OP's picture. At least its front accelerative lift instead of rear squat or axle hop

I also felt that brake dive was well controlled, a nice and very noticeable change

You have a pic on your thread that shows the ridge very clearly from the interior. I was quite surprised at how pronounced it was from inside. It doesn't look near so large from the outside pics.
