Car looks awesome and great personal tags on the wall!
Thanks! Went a little overboard with the plates for the 03 cobra lol.

Lots of work to do first. Have been getting some advice from the guys in the @DFB5.0 cabinet thread and will be doing clay bar, polish, and ceramic coating before it hits the road again!

Get ready for an 6-8 hour day and 20lb loss in sweat! Lol
Did my Mach when purchasing with a 2 part Sonax kit.
wash, clay, wash, dry, first app/polish, last app/polish.
You want to talk about a core workout !
But damn it will look good!
For the last 4 years I just do a twice a year spray application Sonax polymer net shield . Works well on the back half of car since front is ppf.
I actually go over the hood matte sticker and ppf with it too and it beads so nice

I had ford change my Mach 1's oil since I am still under warranty and don't want to tempt. I looked at my invoice and it says 2023 Ford Mustang Dark Horse and 2,000 miles less. I was told ford went to some new software and that is what my VIN comes up as, lol.

Sun has been out for a couple days and dried the roads so took the Mach and the Mrs. out to the coast yesterday. This morning was a solo run with the Boss to drive some back roads without any yelling. Life is good!

Thanks…I was lucky to find this car with under 58k miles, matching numbers, and only a gentle refresh performed. I’m only trying to keep it in that same condition until it gets passed down to the kids and grandkids someday.

I did the knuckle to toe bushings.

I have diff bushings kit, but haven't installed it.

No pitfalls! It's all straightforward.
Diff bushings kit is not fun, lol. Got the two bushings installed on the rear side, going to take it apart again in the summer to get the front bushings in. You need to drop the rear subframe pretty far down to get on either side for the fronts.

Ford Performance camber plates installed. Not a hard job at all, took around 1.5 hours each side taking my time.

Super easy to access everything if you remove the caliber and rotor.

Note: No pressure is being put on the shock tube, it is resting on the table, the vice is barley snug to hold it steady. I need a different spring compressor, but I did get it to work, barely.

Looks like the strut mounts are clunking, I thought I had them tight (Tons of thread showing). I'm going to ugga dugga it and hopefully that fixes it. If not, I ordered a different style spring compressor.

Edit: fixed it with three ugga duggas.

I was thinking about some of these same modifications to my car. I'm looking forward to seeing progress on your car.

After I felt the before and after of the "stop the hop" kit I have been addicted to suspension. It's night and day for me. Or maybe how the car should have came 🤷🏻‍♂️
