Plasti dipped my front pony emblem. My first time using this paint. So far so good. I think It matches with the roof, black brake calipers, badges and exterior mirrors very well.

Today I did the sound tube removal. It went pretty well except for dropping a wrench into the abyss along the firewall. I eventually fished it out. There was no way I was going to get that 10mm nut off without removing the cowl brace, which I did not. I shoved a crow bar down there and loosened the tube mount, and then just pulled it loose. The firewall plug went in pretty easy once I put some petroleum jelly on it. I also installed a J&L PCV oil catch while I had the cover off. That was very easy and a nice fit.

I can see the dipstick now!

Now that I've had the cover off I see a good cleaning is overdue.
