Rear license plate bl4ckout plates

Has anyone installed a bl4ckout plate on there s550? Or something equivalent? I want to order one but I took a look at the back and don’t see an empty or place to run the power wire? Can I just slip it by one of the led rear license plate lights? Or do I have to tap an extra hole ? Thanks any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated

I got power from one of my license plate lights, downside here is that I have to have my headlights on for the blackout plate to get power.

Correct, the plate cover (at least the one I use) comes with a little key fob remote with an on/off button.

Yeah the one I see has a key fob as well. Been looking into getting one just never seen one on a mustang and I took a look at mine and didn’t see how to get a seamless look with out having to tap a extra hole or managing to get it thru the led license plate light. So CA is lenient about having deceptive tag equipment to the point that folks think it is worth the risk to avoid enforcement? I'm quite surprised, hearing forum CA members talking about the heat they get on things that are not dotting legal i's and crossing t's.

OHP seems oblivious to fake paper tags or real 30 day paper tags that are a year old but I guarantee you would get loved tenderly with one of these tag devices. It’s a shame the faded and torn paper tags are a perfect reason to stop and take a peek. I guess they don’t want to do the paperwork that would almost certainly follow.

Not necessary for traffic red light cams since you have to have the right of meeting your accuser in court. They removed the red light cameras in my neighborhood.

So living in Fresno and owning a mustang makes me participate in roll racing for entertainment? So when I drive my c8 z06 makes me participate in golf tournaments and wear new balance as well? What about when I drive my gt2 rs i shred the backroads and do cannon runs as well with people who do well in life. My location of residence and job career has nothing to do with my vehicles I drive. If you most know my entertainment is traveling with my family in places most people will never get to visit or experience
